The Standard Photinia Red Robin is a highly popular evergreen shrub expertly trained into a lollipop shape, offering a striking architectural and formal look to any garden. Compact and low-maintenance, it only requires a quick clip once a year to maintain its neat, rounded shape. This award-winning variety thrives in both sun or partial shade and is adaptable to nearly any soil type. The shrub is particularly stunning in spring and early summer when its young leaves emerge bright red, adding a burst of color to your landscape. It can be displayed in large patio containers, flanking doorways or steps, or planted in borders among flowering plants to add structural contrast. Photinia Red Robin grows well in moderately fertile, moist, well-drained soil, and benefits from regular watering during its establishment phase. Once settled, it requires minimal care and thrives with just occasional attention. This plant reaches up to 1m in height and has a spread of up to 50cm when fully established.
